Welcome to Waihanga Ara Rau, the Workforce Development Council for Construction and Infrastructure. We represent many industries including concrete, construction, electricity, gas, infrastructure, plumbing, roading, telecommunication, and water.
We aim to transform access to education and strengthen the construction and infrastructure workforce through partnership and connection across the motu.
Workforce Development Council
Toi Mai is the Ohu Ahumahi - Workforce Development Council for the creative, cultural, recreation and technology sectors.
Our kaupapa is to enhance vocational education and training to meet industry needs. We are a new organisation whose goal is to ensure the workforce of Aotearoa has the skills it needs for the world of work today, and for the future.

Toitū te Waiora (Community, Health, Education, and Social Services) Workforce Development Council represents sectors including care services, youth services, disability services, education and educational support services, funeral services, and mental health and addictions services.
We also represent health services, public order safety, regulatory services, skin and nail therapy services, social services, and urban pest control.
We are about people helping people, and we are proud of the difference our sectors make in Aotearoa.
Manufacturing, Engineering and Logistics
Hanga-Aro-Rau Workforce Development Council represents the manufacturing, engineering and logistics industries including wood manufacturing, bakery, butchery, mechanical, automotive and marine engineering, dairy processing, extractives and drilling, and transport.
We ensure our sectors lead and influence the vocational education system and its transformation.

Ringa Hora (Services) Workforce Development Council represents industries including Advisory Services, Aviation, Cleaning Services, Business Services, Contact Centres, Financial Services, Hospitality, Local Government, Real Estate, Retail, Security Services, State Sector, and Tourism & Travel.
