Kia ora e te whanau

He tangata kē koutou, he tangata kē mātou, engari i tēnei wā, tatou tatou e. (you are diverse, we are diverse, but in the end we all belong).

It is with great pleasure that we announce the release of the 2023 National External Moderation Plan for Toitū Te Waiora. This work constitutes our post assessment moderation intentions for the year, as well as our methods for guiding our activities in general.

Among our largest commitments in 2023 will be the use of the principles of Aromatawai from NZQA in our work. This is explained in the document, and we encourage you to follow the link it contains and incorporate it into your development process if it hasn’t been already. With our shared commitment to better outcomes for all learners, we feel that the implementation of this process into the development of assessment materials will enhance the possibility of this outcome.

The Toitū Te Waiora Quality Assurance team remains committed to assisting you through these processes in 2023 and are here to advise in any way we can.

Kia hora te marino, kia whakapapa pounamu te moana, hei huarahi mā tatou i te rangi nei. Aroha atu, aroha mai, tātou ia tātou katoa. (May peace be wide spread, may the sea glisten like greenstone, a pathway for us all at this time, let us show respect for eachother, for all, and bind us together).
